In Memoriam
Champion Kititas Portiaof
Darktower - Poshie.
Sire: Coonyham Wrangler x Dam:
Kassaro Constanse.
2000-2005
Poshie was born in July 2000 and
we waited over a year for her. She was a truly beautiful cat, who thought she
was really something (hence the name!). Always into mischief, we created a
sweetie jar on the hearth for her and still many cats and kittens enjoy eating
from the jar, even if its only the same treats as what's in their biscuit bowls!
Premier Darktower Macavity
Sire: Belujondra Montezuma X Dam: Ch & Pr
Noracoon Tiberia
2002 - 2006
Mackie was a real softy, he
was one of 5 white kittens, of which 4 survived. He loved people and was the
life and soul of of the cats. He was very mischievous and often the start of any
naughtiness in the house, specially climbing on the mantelpiece or up the
curtains! Unfortunately he developed Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) and
died from this condition despite medication and lots of care. The test for
HCM was not available, since it was we have tested all our cats and have now
eradicated this from our breeding programme. He will be sadly missed.
Grand Premier Beardwood Thomas OMalley
Sire: Gr. Ch. Coonquest Oscar ofBeardwood x Dam:Matagot
Vashti.
1997 - 2009
Tom was the ultimate cat! He
was a very handsome cat with
a wonderful personality, and even though he had been very ill with HCM for the
past few years, he never lost that commanding presence. He was definitely a
mummy's boy and would fret whenever I was away and then be glued to my
side. He would sit next to me on the arm of the couch and stare at me in
adoration. The feeling was definitely mutual! Thank you to Norrie
& Eric Crook for allowing us to have him, we will really miss
him.
Butch
Butch was our beloved chuhuahua, who sadly had
to be put to sleep in August 2010. He was a lovely dog who thought he was
a cat. He
loved his Maine coons and played
with them all the time. He didn't do walking, but was happy to go out in the car as often
as possible. He slept in our bed and was jealous if the cats tried to get in. He
was
a really friendly dog and will be missed by us and the cats!!
